About Valinor
You read ingredient labels.
You changed your skincare.
You became more careful about what touches your body.
Most activewear has not changed with you.
Nylon was one of the great material breakthroughs of the last century. It replaced silk in wartime parachutes, ropes, and tire cord, then moved into stockings, swimwear, carpets, and eventually the performance clothing worn closest to the skin. Polyester followed soon after.
They were brilliant for their time.
They were not designed as skincare.
Valinor exists because the next era of activewear will not come from better marketing around the same synthetic fibers. It will come from better materials.
Our fabric is called Taurenna™. It begins as a plant and is engineered into something soft, breathable, and cooling. Made for the hours your clothing is closest to your body.
This is not activewear.
It is skinwear.
The brands that put leggings on most of the world are not the enemy. They are operating inside the system available to them. Synthetic fibers are cheap, proven, and deeply embedded in global manufacturing. For the industry to change, the alternative has to be more than beautiful. It has to perform. It has to scale. It has to make economic sense.
So we decided to build it.
Direct-to-consumer lets us move like a lab. We refine yarn, knit, fit, and feel through real wear and constant iteration.
The goal is not only to make better clothing for the women who buy from us.
The goal is to make the healthier material so good, and eventually so obvious, that no one should have to choose a brand to escape plastic.
Valinor is a skinwear brand.
Taurenna™ is the material platform underneath it.
The missing step in your skincare routine.
