Fabric Designed to Support Your Performance

Tested to Sit on your Skin with Confidence

We call it skinwear because it sits on your skin longer than any serum; and we think it should be designed as a fabric that is going to sit on your skin and interact with your body, not just a material to be tested in a lab.

Taurenna™ Fabric is tested in its finished form after being dyed and assembled into garments; nothing is added after that so these test results are performed on the final fabric you would put against your skin.

The testing is done by a 3rd party laboratory located in Marietta, GA which is certified to ISO-9001 standards with ISO-17025 accreditation for EPA, ASTM, and AATCC methods. That testing yielded the following results:

BPA-Free PFAS-Free Phthalate-Free

Test results

Taurenna™ fabric · August 2026
Bisphenol A (BPA)
None detected

Fabrics made from plastic, like polyester, sometimes have BPA as an additive to improve its stability during the melt stage of its production; sometimes may be used in certain dyeing processes; or it might be present due to the use of recycled polyester that contained it. The problem is that, in the human body, BPA mimics estrogen and can disrupt normal hormonal signaling.

Taurenna™ fabric was tested with 1 part per billion sensitivity and no BPA was detected.

Phthalates
None detected

Plastic-based fabrics can have phthalates in their fibers and on their surfaces because phthalates are sometimes used to make plastic fibers more flexible or as an additive in dyeing or screen-printing processes. Phthalates are also endocrine disruptors that interfere with proper hormone levels and function.

Taurenna™ fabric was screened for all 10 regulated phthalate categories and no phthalates were detected.

PFAS
None detected

PFAS "forever chemicals" are sometimes used in athleisure and athletic wear made from plastics for odor and stain resistance due to the high affinity of polyester, for example, to oils and dirt which get absorbed and feed odor causing bacteria.

Taurenna™ fabric was screened for 14,700+ PFAS compounds and no PFAS was detected.

Formaldehyde
None detected

Formaldehyde is a chemical sometimes used in synthetics and blends to prevent shrinkage, reduce wrinkling, and hold dyes in place, or to help resist mildew or other issues that come up during shipping and storage.

Taurenna™ fabric was tested with 3 parts per million sensitivity and no formaldehyde was detected.
